China Post is scheduled to issue a set of 2 commemorative stamps themed "The 32nd Olympic Games" on July 23, 2021. The total face value of the full set of stamps is 2.40 yuan, with a planned circulation of 6.6 million sets.

The Olympic Games, held every four years, is the world's largest comprehensive sports event hosted by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). It is also the most influential sports gala globally. On March 30, 2020, the IOC, the Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the Japanese government jointly announced that the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, which had been forced to postpone due to the COVID-19 pandemic, would be held from July 23 to August 8, 2021.

The two commemorative stamps of "The 32nd Olympic Games" feature table tennis mixed doubles and men's weightlifting respectively. The stamp images show the wonderful moments of athletes in competitions, and artistically present the beauty of sportsmanship and competition, as well as the beauty of speed and strength. The number "2021" in the background is presented with abstract geometric patterns and dotted with cherry blossom motifs. The images combine virtual and real elements, are full of dynamism, and set off the lively competition atmosphere of the Games.

This set of stamps was designed by Zhang Qiang and Hu Xi, and printed by Henan Post and Telecommunications Technology Co., Ltd. using the offset printing process.
