China Post has scheduled the issuance of a set of commemorative stamps titled Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics – Competition Venues on June 23, 2021. The set consists of 4 stamps and 1 souvenir sheet. The total face value of the full set of stamps is 10.80 yuan. The planned circulation quantity is 7.5 million sets for the stamps and 6.3 million pieces for the souvenir sheet.

The 24th Winter Olympic Games was held in Beijing and Zhangjiakou from February 4 to February 20, 2022, marking the first time in China's history that the country hosted the Winter Olympics. A total of 12 competition venues were used for this Winter Olympics, distributed across the Beijing Competition Zone, Yanqing Competition Zone, and Zhangjiakou Competition Zone.

The 4 stamps in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics – Competition Venues commemorative set feature the following venues: Shougang Big Air, National Aquatics Center, National Ski Jumping Center, and National Bobsleigh and Luge Track. The souvenir sheet showcases the National Speed Skating Oval.

The stamps adopt a flat design style, with rich compositions and vibrant colors. The 4 stamps are designed as a connected strip, linked together by dynamic and varied curves. In line with the structural characteristics of the National Speed Skating Oval, the souvenir sheet uses an elliptical format and is decorated with snowflake patterns on its borders. Additionally, the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics emblem and sports icons are incorporated into the stamps, enhancing the sense of rhythm and musicality of the overall design.

This set of stamps was designed by Guo Zhiyi and printed by Beijing Stamp Printing Co., Ltd. using a two-color engraving technique. The souvenir sheet was co-designed by Dai Yisha and Guo Zhiyi, and printed by Henan Post and Telecommunications Technology Co., Ltd. For the first time, the souvenir sheet applies Fresnel lens micro-nano lithography technology, along with special material engraving ink and full-color night scene printing.
