China Post will issue a set of four commemorative stamps titled "Commemorating the 130th Anniversary of Comrade Mao Zedong's Birth" on December 26, 2023. The stamp designs depict "Persisting in the War of Resistance," "Building the Thirteenth Tomb Reservoir," "Having the World in One's Heart," and "Revisiting Jinggangshan." The total denomination of the set is 4.80 yuan. The planned issuance quantity is 7.8 million sets, with a planned print run of 980,000 sheets for the format two design.The stamp designs employ digital painting to visually express traditional painting styles, vividly recreating the towering image and grand demeanor of Comrade Mao Zedong, showcasing his extraordinary strategic brilliance and visionary leadership. This series was designed under the guidance of Mr. Jin Shangyi, with Ma Gang and Jin Jun as designers, and printed by the Beijing Stamp Factory Co., Ltd. using photo-engraving techniques.
