China Post scheduled the issuance of a set of 2 commemorative stamps themed “China People's Police Day” on January 10, 2021. Each set has a face value of 2.40 yuan, with a planned circulation of 8 million sets.

With the approval of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, January 10 has been designated as “China People's Police Day” every year starting from 2021. This is a festival specially established at the national level for the people's police force, serving as full recognition of the police's heroic efforts for the interests of the Party and the people.

The commemorative stamps themed “China People's Police Day” take the patterns of the police flag, police emblem and the date of the police day as their main design elements, and center on the themes of “Loyalty to Mission” and “People First”. They fully reflect the public security organs' resolve and determination to implement the spirit of the important instructions delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the flag - awarding ceremony of the Chinese People's Police, stay true to their original aspiration and mission, have the courage to take on responsibilities, and resolutely safeguard national political security, maintain social stability and protect people's peace. Meanwhile, the stamps vividly depict the scenes where public security police are diligently working to enhance people's sense of gain, happiness and security, and artistically portray the fine image of the people's police who are dedicated to their duties, whole - heartedly serve the people and make selfless contributions.

Designed by Shen Jiahong, this set of stamps was printed by Beijing Stamp Printing House using the photogravure technique.
