China Post scheduled the issuance of a set of commemorative stamps titled "110th Anniversary of the 1911 Revolution" on October 10, 2021. The set contains 1 stamp with a face value of 1.20 yuan, and the planned circulation is 6.7 million sets.

The 1911 Revolution, which broke out in 1911, ended the monarchical autocracy that had lasted for thousands of years in China, spread the concept of democracy and republicanism, and promoted the social transformation of modern China with its great shock and profound influence. Commemorating the 1911 Revolution under the new conditions of the times – by reviewing the arduous journey of the Chinese people over the past century in their unremitting struggle for national independence, national prosperity, people's happiness, and the reunification of the motherland, and by remembering the glorious achievements of revolutionary forerunners such as Dr. Sun Yat-sen in their efforts to revitalize China – is of great significance. It helps carry forward the spirit of the 1911 Revolution, enhance the great unity of the people of all ethnic groups across the country, strengthen the great unity of Chinese people at home and abroad, mobilize all positive factors that can be mobilized, gather all wisdom and strength extensively, jointly advance the cause of national reunification, and realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

This stamp set was designed by Feng Yuan, depicting the scene of revolutionary activists holding high flags and arming themselves to overthrow the feudal rule during the Wuchang Uprising. The painting has a solemn color palette and vivid characters, reflecting the fierce battle scene as well as the determination and fearlessness of sacrifice of the revolutionaries in overthrowing the decadent ruling class.

The stamp set was printed by Beijing Stamp Factory Co., Ltd. using the photogravure process. The stamps feature rich colors and distinct layers; under ultraviolet light, the red flames outside the city walls can be seen, vividly restoring the background of the painting.
