Background
"Chinese Modern Scientists (VI)" is a commemorative stamp set issued by China Post on October 16, 2014, with catalog number 2014-25. The set consists of six stamps, each with a face value of 1.20 yuan. The stamps feature portraits of six scientists: Zhao Jiuzhang, Wang Ganchang, Wang Xuan, Guo Yonghuai, Zhu Guangya, and Deng Jiaxian. The stamps measure 30×50 mm, with a perforation gauge of 13.5 degrees. Each sheet contains 16 stamps (146×240 mm). The stamps were printed using the photogravure process and incorporate anti-counterfeiting features such as anti-counterfeiting paper, anti-counterfeiting ink, shaped perforations, and fluorescent spray codes. The set was designed by Bi Jianxun, with information provided by Tsinghua University, and printed by Beijing Stamp Printing Works.Brief Introductions to the Six Scientists:
