The full set contains two stamps, together with one souvenir sheet released concurrently. The total face value of the stamp set is 2.40 yuan, and the souvenir sheet carries a face value of 6 yuan. Designed by Xing Wenwei, the souvenir sheet was created by Yin Xiaofei. The stamps were printed in photogravure by Beijing Stamp Printing House Co., Ltd. The planned printing quantity stands at 4 million sets for the stamp set and 3.2 million copies for the souvenir sheet. Comrade Jiang Zemin was born on August 17, 1926, and the year 2026 marks the centenary of his birth. In accordance with relevant arrangements for central commemorative activities, China Post officially launched this set of commemorative stamps, using philatelic works as a carrier to remember Comrade Jiang Zemin’s brilliant life and outstanding contributions.

Comrade Jiang Zemin was an outstanding leader of the Communist Party of China. He put forward the important thought of Three Represents. Under his leadership, the whole Party and people of all ethnic groups upheld and developed socialism with Chinese characteristics, advanced reform and opening-up as well as socialist modernization, boosted major progress in China’s economy, society and foreign affairs, and successfully brought socialism with Chinese characteristics into the 21st century.
