China Post will issue a commemorative stamp for the Implementation of the Ecological Environment Code of the People's Republic of China on August 15, 2026. The set consists of one stamp.

On March 12, 2026, the Fourth Session of the 14th National People's Congress voted to adopt the Ecological Environment Code of the People's Republic of China, which will take effect on August 15, 2026. This is the second law in China to be named a "Code," following the Civil Code, and it is the country's first unified code in the field of ecological environment. Its enactment marks the beginning of a "codified" era for China's ecological and environmental protection.

The design of the commemorative stamp for the Implementation of the Ecological Environment Code of the People's Republic of China adopts a graphic design approach combined with hand-drawn illustrations. It organically integrates elements of the Ecological Environment Code of the People's Republic of China with a vision of a beautiful ecological landscape, unfolding a poetic tableau of harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature. The design symbolizes the use of the rule of law to build ecological safeguards and institutional systems to protect ecological civilization. The composition is fresh and elegant, with a profound sense of meaning. It not only showcases the natural beauty of mountains, forests, rivers, and lakes, but also conveys the contemporary theme of safeguarding clear waters and green mountains through the power of law, and working together to build a beautiful China.

This stamp is printed using high-precision offset printing technology. With the Ecological Environment Code of the People's Republic of China as the central motif, the offset printing ensures pure and vibrant colors, a clean and neat image, and uniform, clear tones. A gloss varnish is applied to the Code elements, creating a subtle contrast of luster under different lighting conditions. This makes the Code stand out visually with distinct layers, effectively enhancing the depth and solemn texture of the design.
