China Post will issue a set of three commemorative stamps titled "The Flag, Emblem, and Anthem of the People's Liberation Army" on August 1, 2026. The stamp designs are named: Flag of the People's Liberation Army, Emblem of the People's Liberation Army, and Anthem of the People's Liberation Army.

The flag, emblem, and anthem of the People's Liberation Army embody the nature, purpose, and spirit of the People's Army. In the new era's military system, they hold sacred and profound significance, serving as fundamental symbols that unite military morale, inspire fighting will, and demonstrate the Party's absolute leadership over the armed forces.

The military flag is the battle flag of the People's Liberation Army, symbolizing honor, bravery, and glory. The military flag system of the People's Army in the new era records the magnificent journey of our armed forces' growth and development, while also carrying the red gene of the People's Army. Respecting, cherishing, and defending the military flag requires a deep understanding of its historical significance, status, and symbolism. Under the guidance of the military flag, we must forge ahead and contribute our wisdom and strength to achieving the centenary goal of building the armed forces and accelerating the development of the People's Army into a world-class military.

The military emblem is the insignia of the armed forces, commonly used on cap badges, collar insignia, and armbands. It serves as an important marker of military identity and the standardization of the armed forces. In the new era, the emblem of the People's Liberation Army, as a vital component of the military's image, is an important medium for regulating the military ceremonial system, strengthening the identity of officers and soldiers, and safeguarding the solemn image of the armed forces. Together with the military flag, it forms the core of the military's visual identity system.

The military anthem is an artistic expression of the military's spirit and fighting will. The March of the People's Liberation Army, with its powerful and stirring melody and resolute lyrics, embodies the fine traditions of the People's Army: obedience to the Party's command, service to the people, and bravery in battle. This stamp set is produced using a combination of offset and intaglio (engraving) printing. The designs feature the military flag, emblem, and anthem as the main subjects against an off-white background, with soft, elegant colors and clean, balanced compositions. The stamps employ high-precision laser direct engraving plate-making technology, resulting in clear, smooth engraved lines with a strong three-dimensional effect. On the third stamp, "Anthem of the People's Liberation Army," the engraved lines present the musical score, offering a unique dual experience of sight and touch. This allows the anthem to be presented in a tangible, three-dimensional, and solemn form, combining artistic expression with commemorative significance.
