Background
China Post will issue a set of three commemorative stamps on November 9, 2025, titled "The 15th National Games of the People's Republic of China." The stamp designs are named "Synchronized Swimming," "Fencing," and "Table Tennis." The full set has a face value of 3.60 yuan, with a planned circulation of 5 million sets for the standard stamps and 693,000 sheets for Format II.The 15th National Games of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the "15th National Games") is the largest, highest-level, and most influential comprehensive sports event hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. This also marks the first time that Hong Kong and Macao have hosted the National Games.
This set of stamps was collaboratively designed by designers from the mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao.
The first stamp features synchronized swimming, using dynamic silhouettes to depict the elegant postures of the athletes. The interplay of strength and beauty captures the athletes' agility in the water from a unique perspective.
The second stamp showcases fencing, employing swift lines to illustrate the athletes' rapid and powerful movements. The collision of rigidity and flexibility, presented in a minimalist composition, highlights the intensity of the competition.
The third stamp portrays table tennis, using bold and concise color blocks to depict the athletes' focused readiness. The fusion of strength and resilience, rendered in geometric and simplified modern minimalist illustrations, conveys the momentum and tension of the athletes at the moment of serving, creating a suspenseful competitive atmosphere.
The stamps were produced using high-precision offset printing, resulting in vibrant colors and clear details. The figures on all three stamps are printed with glossy varnish ink, enhancing the realism and three-dimensionality of the images while giving the stamps a unique luster. The text is printed in silver, creating a distinctive visual effect. Under ultraviolet light, fluorescent patterns appear, enhancing both aesthetic appeal and anti-counterfeiting functionality.
The stamp set was designed by Han Jiaying, Alan Chan, and Au Chon Hin, edited by Liu Jian, and printed by Beijing Stamp Printing Co., Ltd. using offset printing technology.
