On October 18, 2018, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China Post issued a set of commemorative stamps titled "The 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region", consisting of 3 stamps.

Harmonious Homeland - The foreground of the first stamp depicts a scene where the 12 ethnic groups living in Guangxi for generations are singing and dancing in front of the Guangxi Museum of Nationalities. The background integrates three major cultural landmarks: the Zuojiang Huashan Rock Carvings (inscribed on the World Cultural Heritage List in 2016), the Sanjiang Dong Ethnic Group's Wind and Rain Bridge (the world's largest wooden-structured bridge), and the Longji Terraces (a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System), reflecting the inheritance of ethnic culture as well as ethnic unity and progress.

Open Gateway - The second stamp takes the hibiscus-shaped dome of the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center as its core element, with supplementary images of the Beibu Gulf Port Container Terminal, the China-Vietnam Friendship Pass Port and high-speed trains. It demonstrates Guangxi's geographical advantages as an open gateway between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The design specifically highlights the achievements in the construction of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor, reflecting the new pattern of opening-up of the autonomous region.

Ecological Blessed Land - The main scene of the third stamp features the Elephant Trunk Hill on the Lijiang River and the Ming River in Bama, supplemented by ecological elements such as mangroves and white-headed langurs. As a national 5A-level tourist attraction, the Lijiang River landscape and the Bama Longevity and Health International Tourism Zone together form Guangxi's ecological business card. Through a layered composition, the stamp presents the regional characteristic of "beautiful mountains, clear waters and splendid ecology".

This set of stamps is created using computer hand-painting techniques, realizing the integration of traditional ethnic elements and modern design language. It incorporates three technological innovations:

Joint Stamp Layout: The three stamps are arranged horizontally in a continuous manner, forming a panoramic visual presentation.

Anti-Counterfeiting Technology: An oval-shaped special perforation is set at the bottom left corner of each stamp, and the micro-printed text "GX" (the abbreviation of Guangxi) is hidden on the stamp surface.

Multi-Dimensional Perspective: Through the layered superposition of foreground figures, middle-ground buildings and background landscapes, a three-dimensional spatial-temporal narrative is constructed.

Each stamp in the set has a specification of 50×30 millimeters. A full sheet contains 6 sets of stamps (18 stamps in total). The stamps are printed using the photogravure method, with a circulation of 9,774,100 sets.
