Background
China Post scheduled the release of a commemorative stamp set titled The 10th Anniversary of Cross-Strait "Three Links" on December 15, 2018. The set contains 1 stamp with a face value of 1.20 yuan.

The Cross-Strait "Three Links" refers to the direct two-way postal service, trade, and transportation links between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. On November 4, 2008, the Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS) and the Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF) signed the Cross-Strait Air Transport Agreement, Cross-Strait Maritime Transport Agreement, and Cross-Strait Postal Agreement in Taipei. These agreements were officially implemented on December 15 of the same year, marking the launch of the long-awaited direct, two-way, and comprehensive "Three Links" between the two sides. Over the past decade, the Cross-Strait "Three Links" have greatly promoted the mutual exchanges between people on both sides, as well as exchanges and cooperation in various fields. They have strengthened cross-strait economic and trade relations, enhanced the well-being of compatriots on both sides, and advanced the process of the peaceful development of cross-strait relations.

In terms of design, the stamp adopts a highly modern composition technique and color expression. The number "10" is used as the basic composition shape to reflect the concept of the 10th anniversary. A full moon symbolizes "the bond between the two sides under the same full moon", and the Huangdi Mausoleum embodies the shared roots and origin of compatriots on both sides of the Strait. The Beijing National Stadium (Bird's Nest), Taipei 101 Building, and Taiwan's Sun Moon Lake highlight the distinctive features of the two sides. Doves of peace, airplanes, and cargo ships represent postal service, transportation, and trade respectively. The background of the stamp is decorated with a gradient color blending red and blue, implying that the two sides of the Strait conduct close exchanges and cooperation, and continue to move forward toward the direction of peaceful development and joint improvement of the well-being of compatriots.

The stamp was designed by Zhang Zhiwei and printed using photogravure technology by Beijing Stamp Printing House.
