Background

Beidaihe is located in the southeast of Qinhuangdao city, Hebei province, with the Penglai Mountain to the north and the Bohai Sea to the south. Beidaihe features green hills, blue seawater , a winding coastline , and soft sandy beaches. With a mild temperature all year round, it has long been a famous seaside summer resort. Along the ten-kilometre long coastline from the mouth of the Daihe River to the Yingjiao Pavilion is a beautiful scenic area.
