China Post scheduled the issuance of a set of 1 commemorative stamp themed "Centenary of the Adoption of the First Constitution of the Communist Party of China" on July 23, 2022. The total face value of the complete stamp set is 1.20 yuan, and the planned circulation quantity of the stamps is 6.8 million sets.

The Second National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held from July 16 to 23, 1922, at No. 30, Lane 7, Laochengdu North Road, Jing'an District, Shanghai (formerly No. 625, Fudeli, Nanchengdu Road, Jing'an District, Shanghai). Twelve delegates attended the congress, representing 195 Party members across the country. The congress clearly put forward the democratic revolutionary program against imperialism and feudalism, pointing out the direction for the revolutionary struggle of the Chinese people of all ethnic groups. It also formulated and adopted the first Constitution of the Communist Party of China. This constitution consists of six chapters and twenty-nine articles. It specifies the qualifications for Party members and the procedures for joining the Party in detail, and makes specific provisions on the Party's organizational principles, organizational structure, disciplinary rules and systems. Embodies the principle of democratic centralism, it is of great significance for strengthening the Party's self-construction. The birth of the first Party Constitution marked the completion of the Party's founding work in politics, theory and organization. Since then, the Communist Party of China has had its own foundation for establishing the Party and the highest code of conduct, and the cause of the Party has moved toward a broader new horizon. The first Constitution of the Communist Party of China is now collected in the Central Archives and is the only existing copy.

This set of stamps was designed by Zhang Fan. It adopts a combination of graphic design and sketch hand-drawing. The main elements of the picture include the Party emblem, some chapters of the first Constitution of the Communist Party of China and the site of the Second National Congress of the Communist Party of China. With the outline of a fluttering flag as the background and gradient colors symbolizing "the sun rising in the east", it implies that the dawn of revolution shines on the land of China and illuminates the road to the future. It vividly reflects the glorious course and great achievements of the Party in uniting and leading the people across the country in their unremitting struggle.
