Background info
Clivia is perennial plant. Its belt-shaped leaves are flat and bright. They are green all the year round. The singles flower has several buds on the tops. This plant has beautiful leaves and flowers. Its originated in South Africa and was introduce into China I the mid-19th century. It is popular in the northeast of China, and is the city flower of Changchun. Yellow, red, pink and white varieties have been developed.
