China Post is scheduled to issue a set of 4 commemorative stamps themed "The 7th CISM Military World Games" on July 10, 2019. The total face value of the complete stamp set is 4 yuan.

The 7th CISM Military World Games will be held in Wuhan City, Hubei Province from October 18 to 27, 2019, with a 10-day duration. It will feature 27 major sports, including shooting, swimming, athletics, and basketball. Among them, 5 events—military pentathlon, naval pentathlon, air force pentathlon, orienteering, and parachuting—are characteristic of the Military World Games. The CISM Military World Games is a large-scale comprehensive sports event of the highest standard for military personnel worldwide, hosted by the International Military Sports Council (CISM). Known as the "Olympics for Military Personnel", it has been held every 4 years since 1995. The theme slogan of this Military World Games is "Creating Military Glory, Building World Peace", which expresses the common aspiration of the host country China and military athletes from all over the world to "share friendship and build peace together".

The first stamp, Athletics · Javelin Throw, features a traditional athletics event, with the background showing the Wuhan Sports Center—the venue for the Military World Games opening ceremony.

The second to fourth stamps all showcase characteristic events of the Military World Games. The second stamp, Military Pentathlon · Obstacle Run, has the military pentathlon competition venue as its background; the third stamp, Naval Pentathlon · Navigation Technology, takes the naval pentathlon competition venue as its background; the fourth stamp, Parachuting · Four-Person Formation, has the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge and the Yellow Crane Tower in the background.

The pattern in the upper right corner of each of the four stamps is the emblem of this Military World Games—the "Bond of Peace and Friendship".

The stamp design selects typical scenes of the four sports events, with a unified yet varied style. Through detailed depiction of the athletes' movements, it accurately portrays the characteristics of the four events. Special inks are used in the stamp printing to create a camouflage effect, which further enhances the characteristics of the Military World Games and adds a sense of rhythm.

This set of stamps is designed by Yu Qiuyan and printed by Beijing Stamp Factory using the photogravure process.
