The commemorative stamp "2014-8: 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries" was issued in May 2014. The set consists of one stamp with a face value of 1.20 yuan, titled "Ode to Peace."The stamp design draws from the large-scale traditional Chinese painting Ode to Peace, created in 1955 for the World Peace Conference in Helsinki.
Original artists: A collective work by 14 renowned masters, including Qi Baishi, Chen Banding, and He Xiangning.
Inscriptions: The title "Ode to Peace" was inscribed by Guo Moruo, while the sheet border inscription was written by Fan Zeng.
Artistic style: The painting integrates techniques such as meticulous brushwork with outlined and filled colors, boneless method (painting without outlines), and semi-freehand brushwork, conveying themes of peace and friendship.

The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries is a national people's organization engaged in people-to-people diplomacy in the People's Republic of China. Its mission is to enhance people's friendship, promote international cooperation, safeguard world peace, and foster common development. It was established on May 3, 1954. Initially named the Chinese People's Association for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, it was renamed the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries in 1966, and has been known by its current name since 1969. To date, it has established friendly and cooperative relations with 550 non-governmental organizations and institutions in 130 countries.
