The commemorative stamp set "Successful Landing on the Moon" was issued on January 1, 2014, comprising two stamps. The stamps feature the Chang'e-3 lander and the Yutu (Jade Rabbit) lunar rover. The total face value of the set is 2.70 yuan.

From the first Chinese footprint left on the lunar surface by the Yutu rover to the unfurling of the five-star red flag on the Moon, this mission marked China's successful achievement of a soft landing on the Moon, making it the third country in the world capable of independently implementing such a mission. It also signified the successful completion of the second phase of China's lunar exploration program — the "orbit, land, and return" strategy — representing a significant milestone in China's space development.

The stamps are designed in a continuous horizontal format (se-tenant), creating a more expansive and grand visual effect. The distant Earth and the sun's rays evoke a mysterious and immersive experience of outer space, while the circular composition makes viewers feel as if they are beneath the dome of the cosmos. The deep blue starry sky, the silvery-gray lunar surface, the lander, and the rover appear harmonious and unified within the composition. In terms of perspective, the sun, Earth, and moon are aligned in a straight line, echoing each other and enhancing the sense of spatial depth and cosmic scale.
