The special stamp set "Bathing Horses" was issued by China Post on March 1, 2014. The stamp set features the famous handscroll painting "Bathing Horses" by the renowned Yuan Dynasty artist Zhao Mengfu, which is now housed in the Palace Museum in Beijing. The set includes three stamps and one souvenir sheet.

The first and third stamps measure 50×38 mm, and the second measures 57×38 mm. Each sheet contains 15 stamps (arranged in five horizontal se-tenant strips), with a sheet size of 183×235 mm and a perforation gauge of P13.5. The total face value of the set is 3.90 yuan, with the individual stamp values being 1.20 yuan, 1.20 yuan, and 1.50 yuan, respectively. The souvenir sheet has a face value of 6 yuan.

The stamps are designed in a continuous horizontal format, with the three stamps using different dimensions to correspond to the composition of the original painting. They depict the three scenes of "entering the water," "bathing," and "leaving the water" from the scroll. The souvenir sheet features a dark green border with subtle, elegant gold patterns, designed to better complement the main image.

The stamps were printed using offset printing (multi-color composite offset). Through high-precision plate-making techniques, extensive restoration and repair work were carried out to address damages caused by the painting's age, in order to preserve the original style as faithfully as possible. Anti-counterfeiting features include anti-counterfeiting paper, anti-counterfeiting ink, shaped perforations, and fluorescent spray codes.
