Background
China Post will issue a commemorative stamp on October 13, 2025, to mark the 2025 Global Women's Summit and the 30th Anniversary of the Adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action. The stamp, titled "2025 Global Women's Summit and the 30th Anniversary of the Adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action," has a face value of 1.20 yuan and a planned circulation of 4.6 million sets.

In 1995, China hosted the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women, during which the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action were adopted, becoming a milestone in the global pursuit of gender equality. Thirty years ago, Beijing witnessed the world’s determination to advance women’s equality. Three decades later, representatives will gather again in Beijing to discuss the future of global women’s development, with the hope that more women will achieve brilliant lives and realize their dreams.

The stamp design incorporates key elements such as female silhouettes, peonies, a globe, and doves, forming the number "30." The pink peony symbolizes the gentle yet resilient strength of women and signifies the summit’s hosting in China. The light blue doves represent cooperation, stability, and harmony, while the blue-green globe symbolizes global equitable development driven by green technology, reflecting the profound significance of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.

The stamp was produced using photogravure printing, which ensures high color saturation and vibrancy, accurately reproducing the original design’s rich details. Special inks were applied to the main design, giving the stamp a unique luster that enhances both its visual appeal and anti-counterfeiting features.

The stamp was designed by Li De, edited by Wang Nan, and printed by Beijing Stamp Printing Co., Ltd. using photogravure technology.
