China Post will issue a set of two commemorative stamps on October 15, 2025, to mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Monaco. The stamps are titled "Spring Orchid" and "Bellflower" respectively. The full set has a face value of 2.40 yuan, with a planned circulation of 4.5 million sets.

Since the establishment of diplomatic ties, China and Monaco have maintained stable and growing relations. Both countries adhere to the principles of mutual respect and equality, setting an example of friendly coexistence and common development for nations of different sizes, historical backgrounds, and social systems.

The stamp designs feature flowers deeply rooted in the national culture of each country:

Spring Orchid (Cymbidium goeringii), representing China, symbolizes elegance and long-standing cultural heritage.

Bellflower (Canterbury bell), representing Monaco, embodies beauty and vitality.

These flowers reflect the intrinsic value and spiritual pursuit of ecological civilization. The stamps are illustrated in an oil painting style, with bold compositions, expressive brushstrokes, and vibrant color combinations. The designer abstractly refined the natural forms of the flowers, creating vivid and dynamic imagery. Together, the two stamps convey a profound message of "everlasting friendship" and express hopes for continued progress in China-Monaco relations to benefit both peoples.

The stamps were produced using high-precision offset printing and special scented inks:

The Spring Orchid stamp emits a delicate and fresh orchid fragrance.

The Bellflower stamp releases a sweet and gentle floral aroma.

This feature enhances the sensory experience of the stamps while increasing their collectible and commemorative value. Under ultraviolet light, fluorescent effects further improve both anti-counterfeiting functionality and visual appeal.

The stamp set was designed by Yan Ping, edited by Li Jinwei, and printed by Beijing Stamp Printing Co., Ltd. using offset printing with scented ink technology.
