China Post scheduled the issuance of a special stamp titled China National Archives of Publications and Culture on July 30, 2022. The set contains one stamp with a total face value of 1.20 yuan, and the planned circulation volume of this stamp set is 7.9 million.

From the perspective of national strategic resources, China National Archives of Publications and Culture coordinates and advances the collection, utilization, inheritance and development of Chinese version resources. It is of great significance for further promoting the construction of a powerful socialist cultural country. Adopting a layout featuring "one central headquarters and three branch venues", the central headquarters is located in Beijing, with its three branches situated in Xi'an, Hangzhou and Guangzhou respectively. Together, the central and branch venues shoulder the crucial responsibility of serving as the national general repository of version resources and the seed gene bank of Chinese culture. The archives encompasses a wide range of version resources from ancient to modern times and at home and abroad that carry the marks of Chinese civilization. It is a comprehensive venue integrating the functional forms of a library, museum, archive, art gallery and other types of institutions.

This stamp set was designed by Shi Yuan. The design adopts a centrally symmetrical composition, with Wenhan Pavilion — the core building of the central headquarters of China National Archives of Publications and Culture — as the main subject. By incorporating visual elements of blue - and - green landscape paintings, the stamp presents the traditional charm of Chinese painting styles. It fully demonstrates the profound cultural heritage of China National Archives of Publications and Culture and boasts distinct traditional aesthetic characteristics. The bridge section of Sheet 1 of the stamp displays the external features of Wenji Pavilion (Xi'an Branch), Wenrun Pavilion (Hangzhou Branch) and Wenqin Pavilion (Guangzhou Branch) of China National Archives of Publications and Culture, reflecting the overall layout of "one central headquarters and three branch venues".
