China Post has scheduled the issuance of a set of special stamps titled Selected Children's Paintings on June 1, 2021. The set consists of 3 stamps, with a total face value of 3.20 yuan, and the planned circulation quantity of the stamps is 7 million sets.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, further inspire the passion of children and teenagers for the Party and the motherland, and promote the all-round development of children and teenagers in moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labor education, the All-China Philatelic Federation, China Post Group Co., Ltd., and China Soong Ching Ling Foundation jointly organized the national children's stamp creation and design solicitation activity themed "Always Follow the Party, Pursue Dreams in the New Era". More than 18,000 works were collected in the activity, with 20 first prizes, 46 second prizes and 100 third prizes awarded. Finally, three works were selected from the first prize-winning entries to be featured on the Selected Children's Paintings special stamps.

The themes and contents of the three stamps in this set are as follows:

My Chinese Dream: By depicting scenes such as the prosperous development of China's aerospace industry, cities and transportation networks, this stamp expresses children and teenagers' continuous pursuit of dreams in exploring the universe as well as their imagination and longing for a better life in the future.

Charm of the National Essence: This stamp portrays the scene where traditional culture, urban development and modern technology thrive together, conveying the pursuit and inheritance of China's excellent traditional culture by children and teenagers in the new era.

Hope and Dreams: It depicts the scene of the great motherland's continuous development, with children and teenagers climbing high to look far and looking forward to the future.

Closely centered on the theme, the three stamps demonstrate children and teenagers' good wishes, love and pride for the great motherland under the leadership of the Party.

This set of stamps was designed by three students: Yang Xiaomang from Shanghai Tongji Primary School, Fei Yuting from Hefei Xinzhan Shouchun Experimental Middle School, and Qian Xinyi from Shanghai Zhoupu No. 3 Primary School. It was printed by Beijing Stamp Printing Co., Ltd. using the photogravure printing process.
